Remembering the Future

I just put up a new show over at Square America- it's called It's 1975 And This Man Is About To Show You The Future. It's 56 images from a pre-Powerpoint IBM slide presentation with one foot in the future and the other planted firmly in the 70s. Here's a peek.

Oh, that is awesome. How much can you store on one of those reel-to-reel tapes?

How many marketers would have the balls to use these kind of slides in their Powerpoint presentations today? Exactly zero. Bring back the day when a presentation relied on the presenter, not a middle manager's ability to read bullet lists.
