I like the type almost as much as I like the photo- It looks like the lower case e's must not have been working on the typewriter so they had to switch to a different one.

The Revolution Will Be Organized

I don't know about you but when I think of Hot Rods I think of hopped-up speed freaks writing their names in burnt rubber in the black asphalt book of the American road (or something like that- it's 2:45am so give me a break). Anyway, I guess I was wrong- here are a few pieces from a lot of ephemera I picked up recently, almost all of which was from The Clutch Jumpers Auto Club, a hot rod club from Newport, Kentucky.

You can see the complete club rules, a couple of letters, and a few more photos here.

My favorite piece of the lot was the one thing not related to the Clutch Jumpers but it's too good not to post.

No Photoshop Necessary

As I said last week, I'm working on a show of photos that are optically distorted (whether caused by a Holga-esque camera with a cheap lens or by warped negative, etc...). I've expanding it beyond the military photos I featured last week but it probably won't be posted until early next week. Here are a few more.
