How We Remember The War

I'm working on a new show for Square America- well I'm actually going to split the old show What The Camera Saw into 3 or 4 separate shows. The first of these will deal with the optical distortion- a very dreamy blurriness- you often find in pictures taken with cameras with poor lenses. I'd say they're most common in the 40s so you see a lot from WWII.

The future shows will deal with double exposures, motion blurs, and damaged/decaying photos.

More Guns, More Guns, More Guns!!!!!

As promised, I just re-did Guns, Guns, Guns!! and I must say I'm pretty pleased with the results. It's now about 110 photos spread out over two pages. There are about 30-40 new photos and I deleted about 10 photos from the original show that I didn't feel were necessary. Here are a few of the new ones.

The last photo is (I think) the only post 1970s snapshot on the website- it dates from the late 90s/early aughts but was too good to pass up!

Defaced

I just added about 20 new photos to the Defaced section of Square America. Hopefully, later this week I'll be adding a bunch of photos to Guns, Guns, Guns and The Book of Sleep (I'll also be condensing them onto 2 or 3 pages rather than the 10 they each have now). The other show that's due for a major revision is What The Camera Saw; hopefully I can get to that in the next week or so as well. I've also got a couple of new shows coming up-- more on them later. Here's a few of the new Defaced pics.
