I thought about putting this in the new show but I had no idea what was going on so I rejected it.
Hopefully the show will be up on Thursday.

A man is watching a marching band on a wet street. The members of the band are wearing those big black bear hats. Judging from the car it must be about 1930.
The main player in the scene is the unseen photographer. What was so interesting about this band?

Wow, what a powerful example of a supposedly "objective" photograph "lying." If it weren't for the two previous comments, I would never have seen a marching band in this photo. I swear it looks like kids up to their ankles in water, but now I see their shoes are reflected in the wet surface, giving the illusion of their legs disappearing into water.
