Oh, the third photo in this series-what a scene of joy! And I also like how it's a photograph of a photograph (on the table in front of the woman's hand). This is so moving, this one photo, and all three together. Are we witnessing the loss of these unique representations of joy in our digital age?

These are very poignant ... I love how her mouth is open in every shot. I can only imagine how much fun she would be as a grandma! Thanks for sharing.

That's not her grandson. That is her grand-nephew, or else a neighbor kid from her building. I feel that this woman was childless. Solitary. Unmarried, or widowed at a young age, and never remarried.
