A Glaring Omission Rectified! Work from Square America featured in the latest issue of Gomma!!
As I was adding photos to Costume Party yesterday I realised that I never announced that several photos from that series (6 to be exact-each on its own page) were featured in the latest issue of Gomma, a relatively new photography magazine published in London. It's a terrific magazine: you can visit their website, a great resource for pretty much anything related to contemporary photography and purchase a copy here, those of you in Great Britain and on the continent should be able to pick up a copy at your local Borders (I had no trouble finding a copy when I was in London over the summer). Besides the (obviously top-notch) work from my collection other highlights from the issue include Stephen Gill's photographs of billboards, Cecelia Jardemar's portraits of men waiting for commuter trains in Paris, and Timothy Fadek's portraits of Terry Schiavo supporters. Obviously, I'm thrilled to have work from my collection featured along side such strong work.
