I love the asociation to Twombly. It reminds me of when I began collecting snapshots a few decades back and how they made me feel that they were as striking and expressive as any "fine art" or photography. Which is sayin a lot. I'd think - that's right up there with a Robert Frank, etc. I only wish I kept collecting with the passion that you have... Onc, again, thanks for sharing.

This is Gregg Shorthand. The first one is upside down and backwards. It says, "...goal is a long way off, and he may lose sight of it. Enthusiasm is the lamp that lights ambition and keeps it from growing dim. Trim its wick often! One must love his work to become enthusiastic."

The second one says, "Our step will hav undone our hearts and perform the task with sheer delight and enthusiasm. Such is an artist's soul."

I just found this site a few days ago. These photos are great!
